Definatley a decent combo for the money. A few of my friends have/had them, and they're decent. Built like a tank too! I especially like the cleans. The distortion can sound real nice, but can lacks definition at high volumes (especially the 'Insane' channel). Just go easy with the drive/gain. :tup...

I have the original spider 210 (50w) and if you take the time to dial it in, it sounds good at medium volume levels.. Its an improvement if all you have now is some sort of practice amp. I wouldnt reccomend it though. IMO a much better amp in the same class/price range would be the CRATE RFX120.. n...

Dimes picking technique
When dime plays solos(or sixteenth notes) like at the start of the walk solo and the harmony solos in domination when he uses sixteenth notes is he doing up and down picking? Or is he just picking it with a down stroke.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

I just recently put 85/81 emgs in my ltd and they sound fantastic. They give a lot more kick, sustain and the harmonics sound pro. Good luck with your buy but remember to get them professionally wired, you don’t won’t some idiot soldering all over the place and making a dogs breakfast out of you...

What strings do you guys use? I go for the dean markleys(signature strings). Anyone use the dean markley blue steal strings, i heard there really good quality but cost a lot.

I’ve got a ltd mh-50, 24 frets. I went to a music shop a few days ago and the guy there reckons i should just put regulars on my guitar because i change my tunings a lot. he talked about changing the adjustment of the neck but i dont wont to muck around with that. And at the moment i just use ligh...

drop c tuning
Anyone play in this tuning?
I’ve been told i would have to put my pickups higher to the strings and change my guitar strings to fatter ones. To match the drop c tuning. is this true?
thanks
