Sounds like they were jewed on sound. One thing I don't like about festivals in general is bands tend to just get a line check for sound and off they go. The soundman usually gets the band sounding right about halfway through the last song.
When Disturbed went on, it was like they flicked on the "good sound" switch because everything was crisp as could be, even for Slipknot.

i saw them on that same tour last year and they fucking ruled.
I sat in the upper right of the pavilion which could have had something to do with the sound but they weren't my cup of tea.

I saw them on Unholy Alliance tour and Mayhem fest as well, both were a bit lackluster. I've always wanted to see them at a club, but they never fucking come to Cincy.
