My buddy last year fucked a german chick who was there with about 6 other guys.

I took corpse paint last year, but apparently it;s frowned upon so we didnt wear it, i'll take it again this year though just incase. Im also going to by an amazing fancy dress costume to take.

Errr, depends on traffic. It's long enough that we usually stop somewhere about halfway to eat some dead. So depending on traffic and stuff I would say around 5-6 hours.

the biggest festival i have seen was just under 20,000 (and that was all genre of music)...i am going to shit my pants when i witness wacken (i will take pics of the shit).

By the way, the closest camp sites to the entrance apparently don't open til the thurs morning. So I may just spend a couple of days in Hamburg rather than busting my ass rushing to Wacken.

My friend last night whilst drunk... Which I thought sounded reasonable because last year and the year before last campsite A wasn't open til the morning of the first day of bands, and we got moved on when tryin to set up early.

Maybe it's changed though.

That site used to be a reserved campground. The reserves this year aren't near the main arena anymore so I don't think it will be a problem. Also I don't think it's a case of having set opening times for parts of the campground, I think it's just german efficiency. They try to get certain areas of the site filled first to cut down congestion on the roads.

So ye reckon it's best to aim for early on Wednesday to get a good spot?

whitemike - the tent i plan on taking is huge so you're more than welcome to pop in for a cwtch. luckily, i've been working for the past couple of weeks (£350 a week ) and will be for the next 3 months, so by the time wacken rolls around i can afford to bring shitloads of beer.
