This is gonna rule :aargh: :aargh: :aargh:

The plan is looking something like this:

Leave Dublin on Monday or Tuesday 28/29th July, ferry to Hollyhead in Wales, then drive to Harwich in England, taking care not to run over Neon Doll as we pass through Leicester :|): ...

Image

Get the ferry from there to Holland, drive to Amsterdam or whatever

Image

drugs, whores, etc...

then onto Hamburg or Itzehoe for the night before the festival starts

Image

get fucked up for a few days then do the reverse to get home

by my calculations, it's about 1200km each way

Know if there's any room for me Bren? My mates aren't going now, they're just going to Bloodstock, which I expect will be cool too. I still kind of fancy Wacken too.

Yeh I just saw that on the site.

Not too thrilled about that. Opeth are a boring live band and last time at Wacken they were even more boring than their usual live gigs.

Don't get me wrong, I really like listening to them in my own time. But they're not a festival band.

Fair enough. Last time they played i thought they were killer. And i gotta disagree that they are a boring live band.

Opeth were excellent at Graspop last year too, they played an extended set because G'N'R were late. This is gonna rule!

It's going to be wig and nike hightops mania.

Also i hope Opeth don't play any shit from Damnation. Because it;s too quiet and you just get 40,000 people talking over it.

I guess im probably going to be watching Nightwish by myself.
