This is gonna rule

The plan is looking something like this:

Leave Dublin on Monday or Tuesday 28/29th July, ferry to Hollyhead in Wales, then drive to Harwich in England, taking care not to run over Neon Doll as we pass through Leicester

...

Get the ferry from there to Holland, drive to Amsterdam or whatever

drugs, whores, etc...

then onto Hamburg or Itzehoe for the night before the festival starts

get fucked up for a few days then do the reverse to get home

by my calculations, it's about 1200km each way

Please take the stated driving trip, through houses and fields. Make it so much more interesting

Not too thrilled about that. Opeth are a boring live band and last time at Wacken they were even more boring than their usual live gigs.

Don't get me wrong, I really like listening to them in my own time. But they're not a festival band.
