I have a problem

you see.. i'm a musical genius. sometimes in my sleep i'l compose elaborate symphonies or incredible hit singles just ripe for world domination. but like many other geniuses in their professions, the actual act of performing and recording is boring to me. how do i conquer this barrier to unleashing my musicial supremacy?

I think this is due to the fact that you are incapable of transmitting what you hear in your head through an instrument rather than you not enjoying performing and recording.

I suppose if you're talking about the symphonies thats partly true.. but I do have almost perfect pitch.. comes from years of sitting in orchestra class listening to 440hz.
