Punctured Speaker

Today i found a pair of tweezers sticking out of my homestereo speakers they were in the bottom woofer of a floorstanding speaker, i don't have a fucking clue how they got there. :x
they weren't in deep but i don't want to run them like that.

the cone 'paper' is very hard, it could be fiberglass or kevlar. is there any way i can seal it with silicone or something?

if the speakers still work, dont worry about it.

dunno if you can seal it, might get bigger if you use alot of bass.

You can seal it up with almost any kind of silicone. If the paper is hard then use silicone that dries hard. The soft shit will work, but over the course of time it'll wear off. Hard shit :tup:

they will work but i paid $900 for the pair of these speakers so im not going to run them and have them get any worse



and thanks hektik, im going tomorrow or monday at some hardware store or automotive store to look for some silicone.
